Choose a day and time. The amount is held on your card, not charged.
Play.
The studio has 24 hours to answer. You're charged only when they accept; a no, or no answer, releases the hold.
Hiring a pro works the same way: you're charged only if they accept within 48 hours, and they're paid only after they deliver.

What is Sky Star?
Sky Star is the artist side of Sky EKO: where artists, producers and bands book recording studios and hire engineers, producers and session players, with every message and payment in one place. It's free to join and opens first in Puerto Rico.
When is my card charged?
When you request a session, the amount is held on your card. It's charged only when the studio accepts; a decline or an expired request releases the hold.
What does Sky Star cost?
Joining is free, with no monthly fee. Artists pay a 5% service fee on the room or service price and a processing fee, shown before you pay, plus sales tax (IVU) where it applies.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Each studio shows its cancellation policy before you pay: Flexible, Standard or Strict. You get back what the policy allows, including the same share of the service fee. If the studio cancels, you get a full refund.
Can I hire a pro without booking a studio?
Yes. Pros sell services on their own: mixing, mastering, production, beats, vocals and more. Pick a package, send your brief, and get the files in the app with the revisions the package includes.
Can I be a Star and a Host?
Yes. One account holds both. Switch between Sky Star and Sky Host anytime.
Can I join today?
Not yet. Sky EKO is invite-only while it opens. Request an invite and we'll write back when there's a spot for you.
